PTA Update
First estimates would indicate the Summer Fayre raised £2,400 for Greenleas. More details and a message from PTA Chairman Andrew Heale can be seen here
We have had some very successful events since the last newsletter – the Valentine Disco was well attended and seemed to be enjoyed by all. The pamper evening – a new event – was enjoyed by those that attended and we hope to hold this again, hopefully with even more people. The Bingo night was also very popular, and we the spring plant sale was very busy. Many thanks for your great support.
Unfortunately the quiz night, which has been an annual event, had to be postponed, and then cancelled owing to lack of ticket sales.
Clearly we need to hold events that you want to attend and so we shall organise a questionnaire in the near future, and would be most grateful if you could find the time to complete this with your feedback.
The PTA desperately needs more help to run and organise events on a regular basis. We shall be loosing more loyal committee members at the end of this year, so the situation will be critical next year, unless we see some more volunteers. If you would like to get more involved, please speak to Andrew Heale on 758191 or let us know through class reps. or through a note in the book bag. Alternatively, just turn up to the next meeting.
